Os X 10.6 - last FileZilla Customer version supported?

#1 Mail service by onlyonequestion » 2014-09-07 12:37

Hi,

I searched everywhere but I tin can't find the answer to this question:

What is the final version of FZ Client that supports Mac OS X 10.6 Codename "Snow Leopard"?

The latest stable version of FileZilla Client is 3.9.0.v and says: "Requires OS X x.vii or newer" :-(

Thanks a lot for your help to my question! :-)

When upgrading to King of beasts or MAVERICKS or whatsoever they will telephone call it tomorrow is NOT a possibility because of application restrictions where company applications, whether written in house or not, volition not run on LION or above, what options exercise you have for a FTP client?

You want to stay with FileZilla, just the pick of getting admission to an older client is not available, then the only option is to become elsewhere.

I practise non know the answer to the original question and the answer provided was not helpful. Does anyone have any help that they tin can provide to fix our troubles?

Thank you.

What is the well-nigh stable version of FileZilla which will run on OS 10.6.8?

Warm regards, Rick.

Take the link I posted ii posts above and check for yourself, I don't have a Mac (and volition never). Since the OP talked about 3.9.0.v not working, start at 3.9.0.4 backwards.

The to a higher place post is non useful.

Yes, I could endeavour dozens builds to find one that works, but my question was, does someone know which version was a adept 1 for Snowfall Leopard? I do not expect anyone to try these out for me, merely I imagine it is likely that someone who worked on this project would know that build such and such was a solid build.

Warm regards, Rick.

After installing Filezilla v3.two.7.1 on MacOS X x.6.8, Filezilla itself offered to upgrade to v3.eight.1 just no further, which seems to piece of work fine for me.

I just wanted to report that I've been using v3.2.seven.1 for months now and it has been working perfectly for my (absolutely modest) needs.

Thanks all who have been helping people on these forums.

Warm regards, Rick.

Yous must upgrade to the about recent version. In that location are known security vulnerabilities in this old version of yours.
